Warranty: How
Is My Warranty Handled?
The
warranty covers defective parts only. If a part should
fail, call us and we will send you any replacement parts
needed. The factory may at times require the defective
parts to be returned or to be photographed. Shipping
costs are covered by Emerybuilt, Inc. for any parts that
can be shipped by standard post. If parts are too
large or too heavy for standard post they will be shipped
using FedEx, UPS or other ways at customer's expense. The
parts may also be picked up at our parts department.
Labor: What
about labor?
The
warranty covers parts only. We will provide tech
support by e-mail or telephone. Customer may do repairs
or choose to hire mechanic. Emerybuilt tractors are
very reliable and in the event they do need repair, anybody
with basic mechanical skills can accomplish repairs.
Parts: What
if I need parts after the warranty?
Parts
are just a phone call away. In the event we do not
have parts requested, we will locate parts from other warehouses
or have parts sent direct from the factory. If parts
are sent direct from the factory, it will require about
10 days to receive parts. ALL PARTS THAT ARE NOT
COVERED UNDER WARRANTY REQUIRE PAYMENT BEFORE THEY WILL
BE SHIPPED.
What is a Manufacturer's
Defect?
This
is any part that fails to perform as it was designed to
due to being manufactured improperly as opposed to a failure
from wear. Example: If the clutch works when
your tractor is delivered but at a later date needs to
be replaced due to wear regardless of the amount of time
the tractor has been used, it is not a warranty item. If
the same clutch fails because the clutch pressure plate
breaks due to a casting defect, the pressure plate would
be a defective part.
Next Day Shipment for
Parts:
We
can ship next day via FedEx at customer's expense. The
cut-off time for this service is 2:00 PM EST, Monday-Friday.
How Do I Get Delivery
of My Emerybuilt?
You
may pick up tractor/attachments at our main location in
Chesapeake, VA or we can arrange to have your purchase
shipped directly to you. Tractor delivery prices
vary depending on current price of fuel. At present
time, delivery cost is about $3.50 per mile plus a $50.00
handling fee. This is subject to change depending
on fuel costs.
Do You Price Match?
Yes. If
you find the same tractor and current model for less, we
will not only match the price, but beat it by at least
$100.00 providing tractor is available.
Discounts:
If
you bought the tractor from us, you will receive a 20%
discount on parts, plus a discount on any additional attachments
ordered after initial tractor purchase.
Payment:
You
can use PayPal or personal check for payment of parts,
accessories or other attachments. PayPal is available
now via e-mail and will be available on emerybuilt.com
soon.
Can I Order Non-Standard
Parts, Parts for other China Built Tractors, or Other
Non-Emerybuilt Products?
Yes. We
can order almost any product or item that is manufactured
in China or Hong Kong.
What is Not Covered
By Warranty?
Labor, transportation costs, normal wear items such as
tires, battery, clutch, brakes, filters, hoses, normal
adjustments or any part that is broken from
abuse, misuse or does not show a clear manufacturer's defect. It is at
the manufacturer's discretion to determine defective parts.
Where Can I Buy Oil
Filters and Other Maintenance Items?
Just call us and we will send them directly to you. There
is also a list of cross references that we can provide
if requested that lists filters, hoses,
etc.
